Borkena

Initially the information was that, it was published on Borkena, the ruling Prosperity Party officials organized it by mobilizing party members.
Miki Tesfaye, a political activist from the Tigray region of Ethiopia and currently living in Addis Ababa, says the rally was “organized by Tigray youth living in Addis Ababa.” He claimed that some of the organizers had participated in the war and came to Addis Ababa after the Pretoria Agreement. Protestors chanted slogans calling for an end to the suffering, death and migration of Tigray youth. To understand the context about the fear for new war in Tigray, read the content here.
He spoke in a way that he has first hand information that it was initiated on social media platforms (including tiktok). Part of the arrangement was to get permission from Addis Ababa City Administration and permission was secured.
